What is Repair & Reattachment Grief Therapy?
Repair & Reattachment Grief Therapy is a cutting-edge form of grief therapy designed to reduce your sadness, repair, get closure, and reattach with your loved one who has passed. This occurs in one session lasting between three to four hours. Currently, sessions are running approximately 3.5 hours, but Julie cannot guarantee this so plan accordingly. This form of therapy uses bilateral stimulation to assist your entering a receptive state where both sadness, grief and trauma are reduced/eliminated and your connection with your loved one in spirit occurs through you instead of a medium.
There needs to have been no abuse in the relationship to make a good connection. Abuse includes: physical, emotional, sexual, and neglect. It may also include infidelity or other forms of breaching trust that were not agreed upon.
How Julie works with her clients
(under construction) You’ll want to bring a snack for break and dress comfortably. You come into session and Julie will have you listen to soft music through headphones that plays bilaterally where the music shifts from one ear to the other. The music plays in the background as you talk with Julie and share all about your loved one being sure to include any disturbing memories. This is an opportunity to speak about your loved one in a way you probably haven’t had the opportunity to do before as Julie won’t be interrupting or telling you about similar experiences of her own. This session is all about you and your loved one and no one else. Julie will be writing down all your memories. When that’s complete, Julie and you will decide on the most disturbing memories to work with, you’ll take a quick break and then come back to the music and working on reducing the disturbance level with each memory. You’ll be very relaxed at this point which is when you can reattach with your loved one through any or all of the following: feeling, hearing, seeing, or smelling them. It’s usually very subtle and Julie will explain this and facilitate your experience with you. It’s important to be receptive, have no fear and just be open to whatever happens. Julie once had a person get kissed and they nearly jumped out of their chair! You want to just stay with the process even if something wild like that happens which she cannot guarantee. Your session involves coming in and sharing the story of your loved one and your relationship in a compassionate setting without interruption. The session is for the two of you. You listen to bilateral music. Julie and you work together to identify the memories that most need healing and can lead you to connecting with your loved one on the other side through your senses such as: feeling, hearing, knowing, smelling, and seeing. You all work together to bring any disturbances to resolution and get closure. If you truly loved someone and are completely devastated, this can facilitate your healing a great deal. It does not mean you will forget your loved one and chances are with a deep love there will still be healing.

“My husband passed away while on a hunting trip. I went to grief counseling a couple of times at different places. When Julie suggested this therapy, I was skeptical about it working at all and especially about if I could connect with him. Julie made the session very comfortable and I was able to connect with my husband and I got to say goodbye. I felt like I had gotten something back. I left feeling with a sense of peace. It’s been a couple months and I still feel the peace.” – Jennifer
“I still have trouble processing that I feel so much more at peace in one 4 hour session. There were memories that I thought would haunt me forever that don’t bother me now. I cried and felt the feelings but they dissipated and connecting and knowing my child is well was the best. Julie did a great job. Just trust the process.” – Janet
“I did a session to connect with my dog, who passed away in 2009. He was my best friend and was with me for 17 years. My session was very relaxing and healing. Julie worked with the sad memories and also many good memories surfaced that I had forgotten about. My dog died when the doctor put him to sleep as I sat with him and petted him, but I think his spirit was gone even before he was put to sleep. Earlier, when I passed him to the vet tech and she took him back to intubate him, though he was very ill, it was the last time I really felt him being alive in body and spirit. The following was special to me-During part of the guided afterlife session, I felt not only the spiritual presence of my dog, but also of some other spirit guides who came to help my dog to cross over. I heard the guides say, “We will take it from here,” as I handed him to the vet tech. It seemed the guides intercepted him and his spirit was released from his tiny body as I gave him to the tech rather than later after his medical procedures. Then I saw a large blooming flower over the reception desk at the Vet hospital. (in my mind’s eye). I think the music playing in the headset and the bilateral brain stimulation elevates your mind into a different perceptual realm. Later, I asked the guides, “How is my he? (my dog) and they said, “Everyone is fine in Spirit.” I was so glad to hear that!” – Megan
